When was the last time you took a moment to really consider your priorities in life? I have discovered that ordering my priorities isn’t just a one-time experience. If I want to make the most of the time I have, then I need to revisit my order of priorities often. Otherwise it is just too easy to get distracted by other stuff.

If you are genuinely interested in a reality check in this area, then take some time to honestly examine your daily choices. You see, our choices reflect our priorities. If being healthy is a priority for you, then are you making daily choices that will lead to good health? If you want to have a great family, then what are you doing to build those strong ties? If a relationship with God is at the top of your list, then what are you doing every day to help that grow?

Are your daily choices truly reflecting your priorities?  If so, then keep on doing what you’re doing. If not, then maybe it’s time to make some adjustments. We all need a tune-up now and then.

Give yourself the freedom to determine how you are going to live your life. Establish and honor your priorities.

“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”~Luke 12:34
